Do you ship outside of the United States?

Yes! We ship to nearly all countries worldwide. Shipping times may vary depending upon which country you are shipping to.

For example: Orders to Canada and Europe generally take 4-5 business days once shipped depending on the courier. Australia and Asia can take 7-10 days to delivery after your order has shipped.

What does it cost to ship my order?

The shipping cost is free for delivery addresses within the United States and Sweden. All other international delivery destinations are charged a shipping fee which varies depending on destination. The shipping fee for your specific country will be shown at checkout.

All U.S., Swedish and international customers are responsible for the shipping costs to return or exchange the clogs. Please refer to our ‘Exchange and Returns Policy’ for more information.

Do you ship expedited?

Your order can be shipped with expedited service only if it's a US order. The cost of expedited shipping is $29.99. If you'd like your order to be shipped expedited, please reach out to us at info@verkaclogs.com or by phone at 1-800-305-3179.

We are unfortunately unable to do expedited shipping for international orders.

Can I ship my order to an address other than my own?

Yes. During check-out, please make sure to differentiate between ‘shipping address’ and ‘billing address’.

I would like to have my clogs delivered before the weekend. Can you help me?

Expedited and Overnight delivery options are available during checkout for an additional fee for U.S. customers only. Standard shipping for U.S. customers is free. 

How do I track my order?

Once your order has shipped we will provide you with your shipment status e-mail to the address provided during checkout. This email includes your tracking number and the courier service your VERKA clogs were shipped with. Please check your junk/spam folder just in case the email delivered there instead of your inbox.

You can check the status of your clogs order online by following the link provided in the shipment status email, or you can visit the courier’s website and input your tracking number.

What do I do if my clogs are lost during shipping?

Once the courier has accepted the clogs, VERKA is no longer liable for the shipment. Although rare, courier companies misplace a package for a period of time, damage or lose them altogether.

If you have not received your clogs and the status is delivered, customers will need to contact the courier and work with them directly to location the shipment. This may also include filing a claim to recoup funds for lost or damaged clogs.

Do I have to pay customs or duty for your Swedish clogs?

You may be liable for additional customs and duty charges based on your local government laws. Normally these are considered “clog shoes” or “footwear” for import purposes but some countries have specific rules for wooden shoes or wood clogs.

Customs and duty charges are not included in the original purchase price or shipping cost. VERKA Clogs is not liable for any charges that may be assessed.

Although we can’t make any guarantees, VERKA Clogs generally ships orders to our European and International customers from our Swedish inventory to avoid duty as much as possible.

Each country’s laws are specific, so we have limited ability to know with certainty what customs and/or duty will apply to your specific clog shoes order.

What does the order process look like?

Once your order has been placed, you will receive an order confirmation to the e-mail address provided during checkout. Occasionally, the order confirmation goes to a customer’s junk/spam mail folder, so please check this folder if not received to your inbox. The order confirmation will contain order details and VERKA’s contact details. Your order will be processed within 24 hours of order confirmation, unless the order is placed on weekends or holidays. If this occurs, the order will be processed the following business day. Your order will ship within 5 business days of being processed. Upon shipment, you will receive an email containing courier details and the tracking number. If the shipment email is not received within 5 business days, please check your junk/spam email folder once again prior to contacting our Customer Service Department.

The time between placing your order and receiving your clogs varies depending on your location and our stock inventory. The average transit time is 2-7 business days depending on the courier.

I never received an order confirmation for my clogs, what do I do?

If you don’t receive an order confirmation email from VERKA Clogs within an hour, start by checking your junk/spam email folder. Also, be aware the order confirmation will be sent to the email used during checkout. If you still can’t find it, please Contact Us to verify your order status.

When will my order ship?

Once your order has been confirmed, the order will ship within 5 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. This process usually takes 3-5 business days before the order is shipped directly to the delivery address. Once your order has been shipped, we will send you an e-mail with tracking information. Again, please check your junk/spam email folder if not received within this timeline.

Can I make a change to my order after the order confirmation?

Please contact Customer Service within 24 hours of order confirmation to request changes. We will make every effort to accommodate change requests although sometimes, it may not be possible. If it has been more than 24 hours, we can't guarantee any changes but we will try to accommodate the request.

How do I cancel my order?

If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible with order number. This does not guarantee order cancelations and fees may apply.

Orders that are cancelled within 12 hours of order confirmation, will receive a full refund if the clogs have not been shipped. If the clogs have shipped, customers will have to follow our return process.

If you cancel your order after 12 hours and your purchase has not shipped, a refund can be granted but an administration fee of $20 will apply.

I placed an order from Europe but my bank statement says USD. Is this correct?

All payments will be in USD or converted to USD. For customers outside of the USA; local currency will be converted to USD once payment is processed. Exchange rates and/or bank fees may apply. Please contact your bank or credit card provider for more details.

My heel “slips” when I walk. Is this normal?

Yes, clogs are designed like this so it’s perfectly normal.

Will the leather stretch?

Yes, the leather will stretch with wear and shape to fit your feet perfectly. 

We recommend to wear your clogs indoors with a thin pair of socks on for the first few days to see how the leather softens.

How do I know my VERKA size?

If you haven’t bought from VERKA before, we highly recommend you measure your feet and compare the measurements to our size guide provided on each product.

If you’re still unsure about your size and wish to speak to a Customer Service Representative, please call or email us and we will be happy to help. We make every effort possible to recommend the correct size to our customers. However, we cannot guarantee the clogs will fit due to the uniqueness of customer’s feet and the decision is ultimately yours.

How do I return or exchange my clogs?

If your clogs don’t fit or you have simply changed your mind on the color, we are happy to help you with an exchange or a return. Submit your VERKA clogs return or exchange request within 30 days of the order confirmation date.

The customer is responsible for the return shipping on any exchanges and returns. Chargeback fees of $10.00 can incurred if the clogs are not packaged properly when being returned or exchanged.

Note that sale items are not subject to returns or exchanges.

How long does it take to process my return?

As soon as your purchase arrives at our warehouse we will issue a refund within 1-2 business days.

Note: Your bank or other payment issuer may need up to 5–7 business days for processing the refund and release of funds. We generally recommend waiting at least of week after shipping your clogs to our warehouse before verifying with your financial institution that your funds are available.

How long does it take to process my exchange?

Once we have received the exchange we’ll process it within 1-2 business days and thereafter, the new pair will be shipped within 5 business days.

I have a mark on my left clog. Is this a manufacturing defect?

All of our clogs are handmade and we only use natural materials. The handmade nature of our products, combined with the use of natural materials, create individual and unique clog shoes. Although nearly identical, no two pairs are exactly the same.

That mark is a sign of high quality handmade footwear made from renewable resources, and the way we see it, it’s just the opposite of a manufacturing defect, as these natural variations should be embraced.

Where are your clogs made?

All of our products are handmade in our factory in Påryd, Sweden. All of our wooden clog products have been made in this clog factory since it was built in 1965.

What is the wood base made of?

Our wooden base is made of European limewood, sourced in Croatia. The wooden base is kind to your feet and gives you arch support.

Limewood doesn’t require a lot of water to grow, which is one of our sustainable choices. Another great thing about limewood is that it doesn’t get hot the same way other types of woods do (birch for example).

What is the comfort base made of?

Our comfort base is made of a polyurethane bottom with a wooden inlay. You got the classic Swedish clog with the wooden inlay but also the softness that supports your back and knees.

The polyurethane is sourced from Poland.

Which leathers do you use for your clogs?

We have two different types of leather, glossy (patent) and matte (traditional). Sourced in Delden, The Netherlands.

My clogs chipped on the wood clog heel. What can I do?

Wood is a natural material that is subject to cracking when struck by hard objects, so care must be taken when wearing the clogs. This is not considered a manufacturing defect and VERKA cannot accept these on return as a quality defect. Please use caution and care with your wooden clogs.

If you still have that piece of wood that came off, we recommend simple wood glue to put it back on the base - works like a charm every time!

What payment method can I use for my clogs purchases?

You can use PayPal or Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover) to pay for your order. USD will be the final purchase currency. Banking fees may apply for international customers.

Is there a risk to storing my information online with VERKA?

No, there’s no risk in storing your information with VERKA clogs online. Your privacy is extremely important to VERKA! We don’t participate in cooperative databases that give other companies access to our customers’ personal information.
